Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed, head and foot of spine ruffled with tiny closed tears. Spine is faded, cover corners are rubbed. Upper inch of front cover and upper 1/2 inch of back cover faded slightly "darker". First and last few pages with spots of foxing, internally less so with finger smudges to some fore-edges of pages. Gift inscription and ownership neatly to front pastedown. Illustrated with a photo frontispiece.
