- 8vo.(5" x 7.5") 208 pp. Full red cloth with heavy gilt decoration and lettering to upper board and spine, rear board in blind. Top edge gilt. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed, lower front corner with small loss to tip. Head and foot of spine ruffled with tiny closed tears, boards lightly soiled, spine sun darkened (see pic). Prior owners name to first free endpaper. Two color frontispiece and title page in red and black, additional fancy red lettered drop caps to select pages. Small pencil marks found throughout text, small (1.5" x 1.5") newspaper clipping of "Epigram on Gout" neatly tipped in below frontispiece.
