Horsemanship is the art and practice of effectively handling, training, and riding horses, focusing on building a harmonious, trust-based relationship through understanding their behavior, body language, and needs, encompassing skills from basic care like grooming and feeding to advanced riding and communication to achieve balanced, effective control with minimal interference. It's the foundation for all equestrian disciplines, emphasizing respect, communication, and creating a positive partnership for safety and enjoyment.
