This is a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture! Notary Cabinet! Book Case! Display Case!
Notary Filing Cabinet, French, 19th century, with lions in carved oak and 20 painted metal bins which can be lock in place by lockable, hinged vertical oak trim. From the photos, one can see how the hinged vertical trim pieces can be opened, the metal bin(s) slid into the slot, and then the trim piece closed and locked the metal bin into position.
95-1/4" high x 71-1/2" wide x 21-1/2" deep, 2 pieces.
Free shipping within the continental 48 states for a US purchaser via LTL freight.
Will ship within 10 days as a crate must be made after which the shipping reservation will be made. In January, 2020 I shipped a 19th century, Italian, Zodiac display case from Atlanta to Portland. The process was uneventful!
I am a Bookseller and use this beautiful piece of furniture as a bookcase. In the photo of the Notary Cabinet being used as a bookcase, one can see in the upper left of the bookcase is a closed metal bin dated 1900 and in the lower right of the bookcase is an open metal bin with 3 books being displayed. The remaining 18 metal bins are stacked on top of the bookcase.
