Full green calf with gilt lettering and gilt rule framing both boards. Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands, gilt lettering to red leather in second and third compartments, all others with heavy gilt decoration. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Minor edgewear, corners lightly rubbed. Spine sun-faded to a pleasant tan, visible scuffing to upper board, sun-fading to upper edge and spine side of rear board. Booksellers pencil notes to first free flyleaf. Numerous full-spread illustrations. Green silk ribbon bookmark. A beautiful addition to your bookshelf.
