12mo.*4.75" x 7.25") 289 pp. Signed binding by Relfe Brothers. Full navy polished calf with fancy gilt rule framing boards, upper board with centered gilt lettering for Arnold House School, Chester. Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands, gilt lettering to burgundy leather in second compartment, all others with heavy gilt floral decoration and frames. Marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed, most with tiny loss to tips. Head and foot of spine rubbed, chipped at head. Extremities rubbed with loss of color, boards lightly tender with minor separation at head and foot from use. Prize binding of the Arnold House School in Chester, signed binding by Relfe Brothers. No certificate for Prize.
