8vo.(5.25" x 7.5") xxiv + 919 pp. Half tan polished calf with corners over marbled boards. Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands. Gilt lettering to red leather in second compartment, gilt arabesque devices centered to all others with fancy gilt floral frames. Marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Six line dedication to first free flyleaf neatly in old ink, pencil inscription directly below it dated 1937. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed , extremities rubbed, boards lightly scuffed, rear board with small peels to upper corner. Overall, an attractive volume.
