'Later Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, published in 1980 by Easton Press in Norwalk, Connecticut. A large 8vo volume (6" x 9") handsomely bound in full black leather with gilt-enhanced covers, a hubbed spine with gilt decoration, all edges gilt, and orange moiré endpapers.

The volume features a frontispiece illustration of Sherlock Holmes by Frederic Dorr Steele, originally drawn for Collier's Magazine in New York in 1903. Also laid in is an Easton Press “Notes from the Archives” relating to The Complete Sherlock Holmes 100th Anniversary Edition. A bookplate on the first flyleaf records the previous ownership of Timothy Lee Willingham.

A particularly attractive collectible edition for admirers of Sherlock Holmes, Conan Doyle, classic detective fiction, and finely bound Easton Press books.
