Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed with loss to tips, head and foot of spine ruffled and chipped with small closed tears and small loss. Boards dinged, bottom edges scuffed with loss of fabric to board edge, boards soiled, stained. 1.5" tear to fabric at upper joint. Prior owners name in pencil to front pastedown. Light foxing to several pages, darker splotches found within, stains to textblock edges. Marginal notes and marks in pencil seen within pages. Illustrated with several drawings, including a frontispiece of a full skeleton.
