Gilt lettering to red leather label and to spine, red leather label chipped to edge, affecting gilt text. Top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Minor edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed. Head and foot of spine rubbed, hinge starting with 3" separation to head of upper board, still secure. Marbled boards sun-faded to the head and foot of the upper board, rear soiled. Foxing throughout text pages, affecting a few plates toward the rear.
